- Weight = 13 lbs 5 oz
- Length = 25 1/4” (yeah, she’s tall!)
- Wears 3-6 month clothing (a few pieces are 9 month)
- Still in size 1 diapers but probably not for long.
- Eats 5 ounces every 3-4 hours
- Started eating 1 tablespoon of rice cereal at supper. She seems to like it but it takes her a little bit to remember to swallow!
- Still hates being on her belly but is starting to last a little longer before getting mad.
- Has rolled over a few times, but not consistently yet.
- Smiles ALL THE TIME!
- Not afraid of strangers
- Starting to talk more - putting vowel sounds together with more fluctuations in her voice as well as facial expressions. You can tell she’s really trying to communicate
- Belly laughing more frequently - only mom and dad can seem to get her started though!
- Grabbing for toys or anything you put in front of her. She tends to drop them shortly after grabbing them and needs your help handing them back to her.
- Still loves her bouncy chair and now her Bumbo seat.
- Still enjoys talking with mom and dad over dinner
- Still LOVES her changing table! Might have to move that to the floor shortly - she’s quite the mover and kicker!
- Her hands and any toy she is holding heads straight for her mouth.
- Still stares at her feet but hasn’t grabbed for them yet.
- Started standing while supported. Her leg muscles are amazing!
- Recently started napping or falling asleep on your shoulder. She will “fight” with you if you try to lean her back - she knows what’s coming when she’s in that position - nap time!
- When awake she likes to sit up and face outward
- Likes playing in her saucer and will try to grab at all the toys.
- Drooling more and more everyday and goes through at least two bibs a day!
- Still loves her bath time!
- Has broken herself of the swaddle!!! YEAH ABBY!!!! She ‘told’ us when she had enough of it - you could just see her working and working to get out!
- Doesn’t have much interest in her pacifier anymore unless she is really, really tired. Mainly she just chews on it.
- The last couple of weeks she has enjoyed her evening walks. Maybe because she’s not in her infant carrier and has graduated to the stroller itself!
- Likes watching basketball and baseball on T.V.
Unfortunately;
- Still gets the hiccups almost every day
- Having a little set back on sleeping through the night. Most nights are ok, other nights she’s up every 15-30 mins. I believe teething is the cause…
- No consistent naps - again I’m starting to blame this on teething! Haha - this reminds me of what Abby’s doctor said, “First you will blame everything on gas, then you will blame everything on teething and THEN you will blame everything on hormones!” Pretty funny huh?! AND SO TRUE
As always, here are the pictures...
