3rd floor is up!

Early next week the roof should be on already!  Windows and electrical to follow and drywall the week of the 3rd.

Yep...it's going FAST!  It's almost our turn to start the painting, flooring and cabinets.  I can't wait but at the same time, I can.  I'm not looking forward to painting the ENTIRE house. 

Ick.

Happy 60th Birthday!

It sure was a surprise!  Grandpa had no idea the grandkids were planning a surprise party for him! 

The weather was great, the food was yummy and the company delightful!  Only problem -- I thought I took more pictures than I did and most of the ones I got were really dark.  I only have a few to share this time...

I'm starting to think a few photography and editing classes would be nice...anyone else interested?

Another house update

Sorry for all the house updates but this stage goes up so quick that I want to make sure I capture it all -- and of course share it with you!

As of 9.15 the garage is framed. All that's left for the main level are the interior walls. Then it's off to the 2nd level and roof!
