The Bjelland family is growing! Our little "Chirstmas Cookie" will arrive around December 18th - yep - a CHRISTMAS BABY! We couldn’t ask for a better gift and we can’t wait to meet our newest member of the family!
We found out we were pregnant on Easter Sunday and it sure was a big surprise! Since the doctors and the books consider morning sickness, dizziness and tiredness to be “normal” and “a good sign” I guess I will say that things are going great!
We had our first doctors appt on May 3rd and we got to see our little one and listen to our baby’s heartbeat. It was AMAZING! I think Joe and I just sat there in silence watching the screen. It took a little while for us to register what we were really seeing and hearing. At the time of our appointment we were measuring 7w 2d and our little one had a heartbeat of 149.
Yesterday we had our "12" week appointment. At 11w 3d our little one had a heartbeat of 160! Again, things couldn’t be looking better!
Joe and I feel so blessed and I can’t wait to write more about our journey!

Our newest addition to the family!
Isn't she beautiful?!

Long gone are the days when we;
We had lots of memories and road trips in the Ranger, but we are looking forward to a much easier life of travel with our new addition!
Look at me getting all mushy over a truck -- but to me it’s another “check” off the list on our way to growing as a family!
We are very excited! Now we have more room to grow...when that day comes!

Long gone are the days when we;
• didn’t have room to give our friends/family a ride
• couldn’t fit everything we needed for tailgating/camping
• were spending way too much time trying to jam all of our belongings into the truck for weekend get-a-ways, not to mention trying to get them back out again!
• and the dreaded travel for the Holidays -- trying to get Christmas presents to our loved ones without smashing them before we arrived
• and the big question -- where were our kids going to sit?
We had lots of memories and road trips in the Ranger, but we are looking forward to a much easier life of travel with our new addition!
