On Sunday, March 13th, our little girl was baptized!

The weekend was a blast!  Joe and I successfully threw our first party for Abby.  We had about thirty people crammed into our house -- I guess when you are surrounded by so many loving family and friends you don’t even realize how crowded you truly are.   All I could ask for is a little more room for all the yummy food!  Maybe the next party?!

Abby made it through her very first service without getting fussy and needing mom or dad to remove her from the sanctuary.  That was a relief for us, especially because we were in the very front row.  The actual baptismal ceremony was perfect and Abby enjoyed the water trickle on her head.  She even gave us a little “coo” and a smile to let us know she was loving every minute of it!

Abby's sponsors: Aunt Chelsey and Uncle Matt

Thank you to everyone who made the long journey over and to those of you who brought food!  It was so great to see everyone together and of course the food was YUM-O!  Also, thank you Grandpa E for taping!

More from the weekend;

On a side note, I want to thank my hubby Joe, for all the work he did around the house the week leading up to the party. Every spare second I had I was working hard on her baptismal dress (yes, I crocheted that myself!). Because of him, I got it finished just in time!

Welcome Molly Louise!

Although I already have two handsome nephews and one adorable niece, Molly Louise was my first niece born after I married Joe. It was wonderful to go through my pregnancy with Jenny even though we were so far apart. Out of all the pregnant woman I knew at the time, she was the only other one that suffered the awful morning sickness with me. I still think it’s the “Bjelland blood”. ;-) All that aside, we both ended up with two BEAUTIFUL little girls!

Molly arrived on January 23 (might I add during the last couple minutes of the Packers/Bears game -- a true Packers fan indeed!) I know this post it a bit late, but here are some pictures to share!  Isn't she a doll?!

Molly, you are VERY loved!

Proud daddy!

The best kisses come from mommy!

I will post about my other adorable nephews and niece soon! I can't forget about them! But until then, you can check them out here.
